Hotel Fenix was founded in the year 1953 by Miss. Ruth del Pino Trujillo. It was formerly used as a lodging house, beginning with 8 rooms that were traditionally decorated based on that time, all of them equipped with a private bathroom and warm water service. It was the first of its type in the entire state. The name given to the Hotel was chosen as a symbol to reflect a defining period the del Pino family endured. Up until the 20th century the del Pino family was involved in the Agriculture and liquor industry, when a sudden economic downturn took them by surprise and forced them to leave behind their traditional way of life. Nevertheless, Miss. Ruth decided not to let her family down, tackling this new duty and arising from the ashes like the Phoenix of legend. We currently have 46 rooms comfortably furnished, a restaurant with a bar service, laundry service and parking lot.
